To enrich employees’ spiritual and cultural life, break away from daily work routines, immerse in profound red historical heritage and consolidate the power of original aspiration, Mintchem Heaven Group recently organized a red study and team building tour to Jinggangshan, the cradle of Chinese revolution, lasting for three days. Stepping out of the office and setting foot on the sacred red land, the team looked back on extraordinary years amid historical relics and green mountains, relaxed themselves, enhanced communication and gained unique growth and insights during the journey together.
In midsummer, the study team of Mintchem Heaven Group departed from Hunan and headed for Jinggangshan, known as "the cradle of Chinese revolution", kicking off the three-day red study and team building tour. The fleet traveled through the rolling Luoxue Mountains with continuous green hills and scattered farmlands. Away from the hustle and bustle of cities and offices, the fresh mountain breeze relieved everyone of fatigue from long-term office work. Breaking the traditional team-building mode, this journey integrates leisure sightseeing with red in-depth study. By exploring Jinggangshan’s red landmarks and natural scenery, the team relaxed physically and mentally, got along freely and accumulated unique insights.
Stepping on this land rooted in profound red heritage, the team traced the revolutionary history in depth and visited a number of classic red landmarks to touch the extraordinary past spanning a century. The team slowly entered the solemn Beishan Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery and wandered around the Memorial Hall, Stele Forest and Sculpture Garden. In the serene and solemn atmosphere, everyone paid tribute to revolutionary martyrs and deeply realized the hard-won stability and peaceful life today. Afterwards, the team visited the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum. Precious cultural relics, detailed historical materials and restored scenes vividly reproduced the arduous process of the founding and development of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base, making abstract red history tangible and lively.
At revolutionary sites including Ciping Former Residence and Dajing Former Residence of Revolutionary Leaders, the team visited the living and working places of older-generation revolutionaries. The simple and crude living conditions and well-preserved revolutionary relics vividly interpret the noble spirit of hard work and unwavering faith of revolutionary predecessors. Standing by the "Reading Stone" and century-old ancient trees at Dajing Former Residence and listening to stories of the past, everyone deeply felt the perseverance and hope in the revolutionary years. The Former Site of Xiaojing Red Army Hospital allowed the team to intuitively understand the severe material shortages and harsh medical conditions in the revolutionary era, truly perceiving the hardships and difficulties of revolutionary struggles.
The journey extended to the core area of Jinggangshan. The team ascended the mist-enveloped Huangyangjie Scenic Area, a landmark red battlefield of Jinggangshan. By visiting the historic relics such as the Huangyangjie Defense War Site, Red Army fortifications, barracks ruins and Zhu-Mao Grain-carrying Path amid precipitous mountain terrain, the team recalled the magnificent battle history and profoundly admired the fearless spirit of Red Army soldiers who defied hardships and defended their positions resolutely. The surrounding green bamboo forest presents an elegant scenery, and the well-preserved Former Site of the Red Army Mint fully retains the construction traces of the revolutionary base, enabling the team to comprehensively understand the overall construction of the revolutionary base in the Jinggangshan period.
In addition to profound red humanistic heritage, Jinggangshan’s magnificent natural scenery also deeply impressed the team. The Wulongtan Scenic Area features deep valleys, strange rocks, cascading waterfalls and green pools, with scenic spots such as Eagle Beak Rock, Cloud Viewing Platform and Fairy Pond scattered across the mountains. Walking through the forests and mountains, the team immersed themselves in the natural scenery, breathed fresh mountain air, completely relaxed body and mind, relieved work pressure and enjoyed the pleasant leisure time in the wilderness.
At the end of the journey, the team deeply explored the spiritual core of Jinggangshan revolutionary thoughts and visited core cultural landmarks including Longjiang Academy, Huishi Square, Huishi Memorial Hall and Bajiaolou Tower. As the cradle of military and political academies for the people’s army, Longjiang Academy boasts profound heritage and witnessed the cultivation and growth of revolutionary talents. Huishi Memorial Hall and Huishi Square record the significant historical moment of the successful reunion of two revolutionary troops and the establishment of the revolutionary base. The most touching spot is Bajiaolou Tower. The dim lamp in the simple ancient building once illuminated the way forward for the Chinese revolution. Two brilliant masterpieces were completed here, condensing the great ideology of "armed separatism of workers and peasants" and making everyone deeply perceive the far-reaching vision and firm original aspiration of revolutionary predecessors who explored national salvation paths in harsh environments.
The Jinggangshan journey serves as a spiritual immersion tour of red culture as well as a relaxing and healing journey of companionship. Free from rigid procedures, the team hiked and toured leisurely, waited for each other on mountain roads and shared insights during visits. In the relaxed atmosphere away from workplace duties, everyone communicated freely beyond professional identities.
