To help the team unwind from busy daily work and experience the magnificent scenery of nature’s wilderness, Mintchem Heaven Group organized a staff team-building tour to Yili, Xinjiang, an 8-day premium round-trip flight journey. Departing from Changsha, the team traveled thousands of miles to the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains. The team strolled along the lake and overlooked the magnificent Guozigou Bridge, whose steel frame blends harmoniously with the snow mountains and forests, fully presenting the grandeur of nature. In the evening, the group visited Liuxing Street in Yining, where colorful residential buildings are neatly arranged and the streets are filled with the aroma of naan and local delicacies. Immersed in the strong Uyghur ethnic customs, the team experienced the unique earthly charm of the border town.
The most unforgettable scenery of the trip lies in the Zhaosu Grassland. In the early morning, the team headed to Zhaosu Wetland Park to witness the iconic "heavenly horses bathing in the river" spectacle. Groups of Yili horses gallop across the river, splashing water with their hooves and fluttering their manes, presenting a powerful and soul-stirring natural scene. The wetland far away from urban hustle boasts lush water and grass, with snow-capped Tianshan Mountains standing quietly in the distance. The boundless wilderness brings peace and tranquility to the heart.
The convoy then traveled to Xiata Valley, a hidden paradise deep in the Tianshan Mountains. The Muzart Glacier stands at the end of the valley, with primeval forests and alpine meadows stretching along the slopes and wild flowers blooming everywhere. The team hiked slowly, breathing in the fresh mountain air and admiring the unique landscape where glaciers coexist with forests. Passing through Tekes Bagua City, a town laid out in the shape of a Bagua diagram with no traffic lights, the team chatted and shared views along the way, relieving work stress amid the secluded mountain scenery.
Narat Sky Grassland served as the highlight of the entire journey. Located at an altitude of 2,000 meters, the vast grassland spreads beneath snow-capped mountains, with cattle and sheep grazing leisurely, white yurts scattered on the green land, and spruce forests growing orderly along the hillsides. Surrounded by the endless grassland and flowing clouds, everyone relaxed their long-tense moods. Many colleagues sat on the grass, shared snacks and chatted casually, stepping out of their professional roles and discovering the relaxed and authentic sides of each other.
On the seventh day of the trip, the team took special vehicles to explore Tangbula Hundred-Mile Gallery and the northern section of Duku Highway. As a famous landscape avenue in the Tianshan Mountains, Duku Highway offers the unique experience of "experiencing four seasons in one day", with grasslands, forests, meadows and snow mountains coming into view one after another along the winding road. The team marveled at the diverse landforms. During the long drive, everyone reminded each other of road conditions and shared warm clothes, filling the journey with warmth. The team also formulated advance plans to adjust routes flexibly in case of road closures due to weather control, cooperating calmly and tackling unexpected travel situations with tacit teamwork.
On the final day of the tour, the team visited Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar in Urumqi freely, selecting local specialties and tasting authentic delicacies to experience the strong Western Regions customs. Afterwards, the group gathered at the airport and flew back to Changsha, drawing a perfect full stop to the eight-day Yili journey.
The eight-day tour featured long drives, drastic temperature changes and diverse landscapes ranging from cool lake breezes to cool mountain weather. Throughout the journey, some shared personal medicine, some helped take care of luggage, others reminded each other to rest during mountain drives and waited for one another during hikes. Without rigid collective arrangements, team members cared for and warmed each other naturally in the days of traveling together. Daily work focuses on professional collaboration, while this trip provided a valuable opportunity for everyone to step out of the workplace and communicate in a relaxed atmosphere.
